World 9 - An application making you feel like a hero in a TV game.
The usage is quite simple. Press START and put your iPhone/iPod touch in your pocket. Then, jump and run! With a sound effect. your ordinary neighborhood becomes a world of a TV game.
Some say life is like a game. The difference is that life is going on and on. There is no such thing as “the final stage” in life.

The UI to it is a bit unintuitive, however - no telling what’s going on. A switch or something would be better, any kind of true visual indicator that I’m ready to jump around.
I had to visit this site to work out what the hell World 9 was actually supposed to do, but I think it’s a charming app, and I appreciate the minimalist art-project weirdness of Audible Realities. If the original Dadaists were around today, they’d be making iPhone apps like yours.
I love it. Agree the UI is confusing though. Spinning wheel indicating permenant loading is a bit strange. But a stunning concept. Kudos.

Yes, the current version has only one function, which is making a noise when you jump with your iPhone.
Whwn you develop the next one, try the Light Saber app… On that, different turns with different forces feedsback different sounds
My recommendation would be to add other noises than just jumping. Like the sound of hitting a brick or grabbing a coin. Just something to add variety to it because just like the phonesaber it’s a fun concept
updated version does not work very well, i wish i could down grade back to the old version. new version only makes jumping sound every 10 seconds making my son very disappointed.

Great little application, it had/has me grinning like a loon.
The only problem is it does not load the map for me. I am connected via Wi-Fi but it keeps telling me ‘No Internet Connection Available’ I have the latest Firmware 2.1installed on my phone.
Nice app, brings a giggle to everyone I show.
Would be great if the Super Mario theme could play while jumping. Thanks!
