Since the release of 10 seconds ago app, we have received a few e-mails saying the same thing: the app doesn’t launch on their iPhones.
We started working on the problem, but couldn’t find the solution. Oddly enough, we haven’t come across such problems on our iPhones. We have tested our application on several iPhones and it just work on all of them.
Then… it turned out to be a compatibility problem with “jail-broken” iPhones. Apparently, the app seems not to run on jail-broken iPhones.
People say all other applications except the app run on my jail-broken iPhone. I have no idea on the reason in fact. I guest it has something to do with Audio Session API: this app is a rare case, where it does record and playback at the same time.
We’ll definitely keep working on this issue. In the meantime, however, I’m sorry to say that 10 seconds ago doesn’t work properly on jail-broken iPhones. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Our latest app, “10 seconds ago”, is now available on AppStore today! It’s a tiny free app to help you to immerse yourself into your environment.

One of our iPhone apps, World 9, was featured on a Japanese prime-time TV program on September 18th. The program, “Ametouku”, is one of the most popular variety shows in Japan. In the program, a popular comedian jumped around with World 9 app and made everybody in the studio lough. He even mentioned “World 9 World” project: “This application has a mapping feature and you can tell if somebody in somewhere else, say NY, does the same thing.”

What’s new in this version
- Resolved issues of responsiveness
- Resolved issues with slower connection.
Thank you all for your comments and suggestions.
Since the launch of AppStore back in July, we have counted over 150000 downloads of “World 9″ app worldwide. We have received many comments and requests from users. We truly appreciate them.
Now we want to see real use cases
If you have pictures of your buddies or kids jumping with the app, please send us some. Your pictures will be featured on our web site.
Thanks in advance.
We’ve started a new iPhone art project:
“World 9 World” http://www.world9.org
“World 9 World” is a network-based mapping project, that via the World 9 app shows where everyone is jumping around the globe. In World 9, there is no such thing as language or cultural barriers, there is simply the act of jumping. (No personal information will be sent to us via this app.)
We donate a part of all profits made through the online ad to charities. See www.world9.org for more details.

We started a new project called “World 9 World”!! It is a network-based mapping project, that shows where everyone is jumping around the globe. Doesn’t it make you feel happy to imagine that somebody on the opposite side of the earth is jumping around the street just like you? We donate a part of all profits made through the online ad to charities. See www.world9.org for more details: (No personal information will be sent to us via this app.)

We had an exhibition and sale of our iPhone art at dorkbot Tokyo the last weekend.
We got great feedbacks and new ideas from people, who dropped in our booth.
Our 1st Free app, World 9, appears on the rankings of free apps on many App Stores worldwide. Thanks everybody!!
Here is the highlight:

Isn’t it exciting to imagine that people in both Lebanon and Israel actually play with our little toy and jump around the city?

I got a review comment on Mosquito on US AppStore.
It basically says “it’s pointless to pay money just for fighting against imaginary mosquitos”. It’s very interesting to me in fact. Aren’t the monkey of super monkey ball appearing on game screen imaginary too? If the game has visual representation of mosquitos, they are also imaginary, aren’t they.
This comment clearly depicts how our culture including TV games are strongly dependent on visual aspect of our sense.
To try to liberate games from visual perception - this is one of the main goals of Audible Realities project.
I’m proud to tell you that Josh Lowensohn selected “World 9″ as one of the most absurd iPhone apps in his column on cnet. That was the best compliment for me!
Thanks Josh!
