PhonoCam -Record an ambient image.

PhonoCam is a camera application which records sounds from the environment together with a photograph.It records audio for a set amount of time (between 2 seconds to unlimited) until the photograph is captured. After copying files to iTunes via Wi-Fi, images are displayed as album cover artwork and can be browsed together with sounds using iTunes CoverFlow.

シャッターを押すまでの数秒間を記録します。 時間は２秒～10秒まで設定できます(無制限もあり)。

記録したファイルをコンピューターのiTunesに読み込むと、カバーフローを使って音を聞きながら写真をブラウズできます（CDジャケットの部分が撮影した画像になります）。

コンピューターへはiPhoneからWi-Fi経由で転送できます。

Since the release of 10 seconds ago app, we have received a few e-mails saying the same thing: the app doesn’t launch on their iPhones.

We started working on the problem, but couldn’t find the solution. Oddly enough, we haven’t come across such problems on our iPhones. We have tested our application on several iPhones and it just work on all of them.

Then… it turned out to be a compatibility problem with “jail-broken” iPhones. Apparently, the app seems not to run on jail-broken iPhones.

People say all other applications except the app run on my jail-broken iPhone. I have no idea on the reason in fact. I guest it has something to do with Audio Session API: this app is a rare case, where it does record and playback at the same time.

We’ll definitely keep working on this issue. In the meantime, however, I’m sorry to say that 10 seconds ago doesn’t work properly on jail-broken iPhones. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Shh! Be quiet and listen to the sound of your surroundings; immerse yourself in the environment.

When you try, don’t you think your vision sometimes hinders your concentration on the sound? If so, then try this tiny app.

It delays the sound coming in via the microphone by a few seconds (You can change the delay time with a slider). This gap between the scenery you are currently looking at and the sounds you hear may give you strange feeling of passing time and you’ll find yourself a bit more conscious of the ambient sounds in our daily life.

One of our iPhone apps, World 9, was featured on a Japanese prime-time TV program on September 18th. The program, “Ametouku”, is one of the most popular variety shows in Japan. In the program, a popular comedian jumped around with World 9 app and made everybody in the studio lough. He even mentioned “World 9 World” project: “This application has a mapping feature and you can tell if somebody in somewhere else, say NY, does the same thing.”

I happened to find somebody in the Imperial Palace in Tokyo jumps with World 9 the other day!!
Is this a member of Japanese royal family?
